Once back from the glorious honeymoon, this happy couple will return to their lovely dublex appartment situated in the heart of Istanbul. They just plan to take it easy for the next year in their new home. Perhaps they might even take some weekend excursions to sites outside of Istanbul. Jon had always wanted to wait for Beyza to truly be with him to witness the beauty of Turkey.

Jon will begin again to pick up English Classes at the Berlitz Language Center.

Beyza begins anew to search for job opportunities in the area in hopes of furthering her marketing career. Beyza chose to leave her job at a Turkish Internet portal, in preparation for the wedding.

Both Jon and Beyza will undergo the application process for dual citizenship in both Turkey and the United States. For Jon, a residence permit will be issued for a 3 year period. It is also unclear how long it will take Beyza to apply for immigrant status, but they do know that it will be an alien-spouse visa (terrible name), that as soon as the application is filed, she can go to the US to live and work.

But as far as plans, Beyza and Jon have to this point three scenarios, and all that they will say is that:
scenario 1 - involves staying in Turkey,
scenario 2 - seeing many parts of the world at the same time, and could include living in Turkey,
scenario 3 - involves moving back to the United States.

Ultimately, Jon and Beyza just want to have a good life and have fun doing it, they plan on experiencing and traveling a lot in the next few years. Most likely they will see a lot of Turkey in the coming year. It is possible for a trip to the Maldives this winter as well as trip back to Washington State for Christmas with Jon's family, but so far nothing is for sure. As far as kids, they are putting that on hold as well just to have fun, they feel there will be plenty of time for that in the future. Beyza and Jon wish to thank everyone for their best wishes for their happiness.
